I grew up going on vacation in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. For as long as I can remember Loons spoke to me. They are so illusive, it was always so exciting when you saw one and their ethereal call moved my soul. Painting this beautiful creature brought back fond memories of the peace and tranquility of being in nature.
