This piece was a long time in the making. I had started it with one intention but I had missed the mark. So it sat on my easel for over a year. Then one day I took it down and brought out my colored pencils and craft paints and started to play. I love these moments of creative therapy! I have become bolder over the years and just trusted that it would reveal itself to me.

The thought of The Tree of Life came to me and I could imagine it looking just like this! To me this painting exudes joy, hope and love. Do you see the words “TREE OF LIFE” in the branches and trunk? I am learning to be patient with myself and trust that there is a plan for everything, eventually.
